About This Quote

Sometimes in life, when things are not going our way, it seems that there is no point in even trying anymore. We give up and just accept that there is no hope for us. We have run out of steam. We have given up on the chance that things will ever change.

It just seems that there is no point with what we have to offer. Such was the case with this woman who was constantly trying to catch up with her husband. He was always ahead of her in everything he did, but she didn’t give up because she knew that she could be better than she was.

She continued to push herself to get better each day, but it seemed like it was never enough. She would constantly try to be better than him, but it was all too late because he had already left her behind.
